U.S. will give share of fuel contract to Kyrgyzstan, Clinton says

A share? A payoff, is more like like it. Hopefully, this payoff won't go into the pockets of government officials. Why not cancel the Mina and Red Star deals? Or, at least, why not require transparency in ownership from military contractors. It's not as if there aren't multiple companies willing to perform the contract who are not hiding their ownership. Corruption in military contracting needs to end now, not tomorrow. We are losing the war by trying to win battles at the expense of our values. Someone please explain to me why it is so difficult for this Administration to do the right thing.
