Amazon Bans WikiLeaks From Servers Under Pressure From Joe Lieberman

Thank you, Senator Joe Lieberman, for making sure Americans are kept in the dark about what our Government is doing in our name.

WikiLeaks goes off-line after 'multiple attacks' - U.S. news - WikiLeaks in Security - msnbc.com
"Amazon said WikiLeaks had violated its terms of service by publishing the leaked documents as it did not "own or otherwise control all the rights to this classified content."
Is the U.S. Government now claiming a copyright in government documents? Is this the "state" the copyright police have brought us to? What's next, criminal prosecution under the copyright laws for possession of government documents?
