Legal Trivia: Miranda v. Arizona (1966)

Many are familiar with the story behind Miranda v. Arizona, the 1966 U.S. Supreme Court case  that defined the limits of the 5th Amendment right against self-incrimination.  Can anyone name the Southerner that represented the U.S. Government before the Supreme Court, arguing that Miranda's Constitutional rights had not been violated by the police?  Give up?  You can listen to the oral argument here.
