Anthony "Jupiter" Bologna - First Precinct Community Council Meeting this Thursday, September 29th.

NYPD Deputy Inspector Anthony Bologna - who is often mistaken for the character Jupiter in Wes Craven's movie The Hills Have Eyes - used to be in command of NYPD's First Precinct.  He is still stationed out of the 1st Precinct.  Many of the officers at the protests were also from the 1st Precinct.

The First Precinct has a Community Council which, according to it's website,  is an Open Forum that welcomes residents, businesses and all people interested in community and police issue concerning the First Precinct."  The website warmly invites community members to "please join us for our next meeting" which it lists as September 29th:
Please join us for our next meeting. There will be a meeting on June 30th and then National Night Out on August 2nd. The following meeting will take place on Sept 29th. Unless otherwise indicated, meetings are always the last Thursday of every month.
Location: 1st Precinct
16 Ericsson Place,
New York, NY, 10013
(212) 334-0611
I plan on attending this Community Council meeting to voice my objections to the conduct of Deputy Inspector Bologna and other officers during the protests on September 24th.  I urge anyone else who is also outraged by the conduct of the  officers and supervisors who participated in the arrests to take the time to be present as well.
